Please join Imagination Celebration for a family oriented morning of colorful costumes, exciting performances, and hands-on experiences in the arts.
Highlights include:
• Fort Worth’s own Broadway star, Betty Buckley, singing the
National Anthem
• A parade of area professional artists and school children in
colorful costumes
• Kids Who Care Tribute
• Chinese Dragon Dance and Lion Dance
• Performance of traditional Mexican dances by Izcalli
• Special dance performance with Debbie Allen Dance Institute
dancers, choreographed by Broadway dancer Terry Beeman
• World premier of music created for Imagination Celebration by
renowned composer Arturo Rodriguez of Monterrey, Mexico and H. Scott Salinas
• A musical delight featuring the lilting sounds of Wayanay Inka
playing music from the Peruvian Andes and Latin America on
bamboo panpipes and flutes
Following the parade, your children are invited to participate in hands-on art projects in an atmosphere of stilt walkers, balloon artists, airbrush tattoo artists, unicycles, and roving Chinese dragons. Don’t miss this two hours of family fun!
