The Blue Shoe Project is an interactive enrichment program using the power of Blues music to inspire students. The program features resident bluesman, Mr. Blue Shoes, who takes students on an exciting and engaging journey through the history of the Blues from its African roots to its evolution as an original American art form. This highly interactive program combines storytelling, song, dance, instrumental and graphic display to reinforce learning and deliver positive outcomes for students.
