Virtuoso classical performances are the mainstay of the Bluebonnet Brass... at
least in the first half of the show. Then to some earthy New Orleans street beats
and authentic Latin mambos and sambas. Concerts typically end with some
improv on bop tunes and everybody's favorites: the best of the '40s big band
tunes. No touring ensemble today can compare with the authentic diversity of
this one-of-a-kind group. These veterans of almost 1200 performances have
performed throughout the US and Japan. They have two CDs, Bach to Big Band
and JazznBrass.
