National Cowgirl Hall of Fame and Museum

This is your opportunity to visit one of Fort Worth’s world class museums. In partnership with Imagination Celebration, the museum staff has selected five outstanding women whose contributions will interest third graders. Your museum tour will focus on Sally Reynolds Matthews, Clara Brown, Jessie the Cowgirl, Mamie Francis Hafley, and Sacagawea. You will receive Imaginotes prior to the visit so that each student will be familiar with their accomplishments. Teachers will be able to help students compare and contrast the life contributions that enabled these women to be selected for the hall of fame.
