Danza Cultural
Explore Folk Dances from the Americas through this educational enrichment program which
is dedicated to promoting cultural diversity through music, dance, and history. Danza
Cultural, founded by Bertha Garcia, will perform and teach a variety of folk dances from the
Americas, including dances from pre-Columbian cultures as well as European-influenced
folk dances. Students are encouraged to research contributions that various cultures have
made to Texas and the United States.
