Exploring Music from Around the World
Philippe Bertaud
Explore the World, its holidays and celebrations through Music! Renowned Classical
Guitarist, Philippe Bertaud, comes to us from France and Monte Carlo. He will be joined
by percussion musicians to take students to Ancient Egypt and the first guitar, and then to
destinations around the globe past and present with the music of a rich tapestry of world
cultures. This program will combine with special tours of the Modern Art Museum to look
at Artists as Explorers and Cutting Edge Creators!
