Invention Convention
This program is a celebration of creativity and imagination! An Imagination
Celebration program since 1988, thousands of young inventors participate
each year. Involvement in the program heightens students' awareness and
concern about their environment and their future as they utilize problem solving
skills to develop products that will make the world a little better place.
Over 70 schools across the FWISD display the inventions created by their
students. Each school sends a selected invention to the district-wide exhibit
and judging. Winning inventions are displayed and student creators are
honored at a special reception in December. Category winners receive
savings bonds. This program is open to students kindergarten through 7th
grade.
