Artists for the 2000 Sculpture Symposium

Helen Altman
Helen Altman is a Fort Worth artist whose work is in the permanent collection of the Dallas Museum of Art. The museum of Fine Art in Houston and many corporate and individual collections. She has had over ten one-person shows throughout Texas and her work has been included in dozens of group shows around the country. Ms. Altman earned her M.F.A. from the University of North Texas and her work has been reviewed and written about in numerous books and articles.







Thad Duhigg
Thad Duhigg is a Fort Worth Sculptor whose work is in the permanent collection of several museums and universities and also, is the recipient of a Fulbright Scholar award and a Guggenheim Scholar Award. He has had nine solo exhibitions nationwide and his work has been included in dozens of group exhibitions around the country. Mr. Duhigg received his M.F.A. from Syracuse University with a specialization in sculpture.







Linnea Glatt
Linnea Glatt is a Dallas artist who received her Masters Degree in Art from The University of Dallas. Her work is represented by numerous permanent and temporary installations as well as well as studio works. Her work is part of the permanent collection at the Dallas Museum of Art and she has been included in numerous exhibitions in and outside of Texas. She has received grants from the National Endowment, Art Matters N.Y., and the Dallas Museum of Art.







Anthony Wright
Anthony Wright is a Fort Worth artist who earned his M.F.A. from TCU. His work has been included in numerous exhibitions throughout the state of Texas and is part of several permanent collections in Fort Worth, Dallas, Waco, Indianapolis, and Los Angles. Mr. Wright's work won Best of Show at the Main Street Arts Festival in 1988 and he has been extensively reviewed and written about in the Dallas and Fort Worth press.






Cameron Schoepp
Mr. Schoepp was a FWSS sculptor in year one and is returning to assist with project coordination and to create continuity for the second year of the Sculpture Symposium. Mr. Schoepp holds an MFA from TCU, and is currently Associate Professor of Sculpture at the University of Dallas. His work has been featured in dozens of exhibitions including a One-man show at the Foster Goldstrom Gallery in New York. Mr. Schoepp has won numerous awards and has been the recipient of grants from Harvard and MIT among others. His work is included in the permanent collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, The Old Jail Museum of Albany, NY, and in many private collections. Additionally, he has been featured in many articles, books and catalogs, including The Harvard and Architecture Review, International Sculpture, and Art Gallery International.
