Since the spring of 2000, Mrs. Head has guided the creation and development of a program based on the Imagination Celebration Fort Worth Model in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon Mexico. Working through the gift of two invitational "Chairman's Extraordinary Action Grant's" from the National Endowment for the Arts to Mrs. Head and Imagination Celebration Fort Worth, Mrs. Head worked with a team of leaders from the state of Nuevo Leon in the creation of a new Mexican non-profit adapted from the Imagination Celebration Fort Worth Model. Working with this team Mrs. Head guided the creation of a first time partnership between the museums, performance companies, libraries, science institutions and offices of the Minister of Education for the State of Nuevo Leon for the purposes of developing a unified effort for students and teachers which would connect thousands of children in a thematic study connecting the arts, sciences, humanities and technology in the city of Monterrey. The pilot program was a tremendous success and has been adopted by the state department of education. The program has reached 22,000 students in Nuevo Leon in an in-depth multiple experience series and 350,000 students in a single experience adaptation based on the in depth thematic study series. Over 1000 teachers have been trained in the use of the arts for interdisciplinary studies in the classroom. A learning partnership has developed between the city of Fort Worth and the City of Monterrey, Mexico and consequently Mrs. Head has launched a series of special collaborative programs under the theme "A Celebration of Mexico" for students and teachers in Fort Worth, Texas. Mrs. Head has been asked by Partners of the Americas, the largest network of partnerships between the US and states and countries in Latin America, to work with the states of Arizona, Oaxaca, Guanajuato in the development of programs based on the Imagination Celebration Fort Worth /Nuevo Leon model. This work is now being supported by a Chairman's Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Education
Mrs. Head graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1968, with a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in painting and art history. Immediately following her graduation, she worked as a designer of packaging for Susan Crane, Inc. in Dallas. As the mother of three sons, Mrs. Head taught art in the private school system in Dallas, and after coming to Fort Worth taught art classes at the Museum of Science and History and created an art curriculum for All Saints Episcopal School. Mrs. Head, a member of the Junior League of Fort Worth, has been active in the volunteer community to date. Mrs. Head was a docent for the Kimbell Art Museum for 15 years, during this time she created a special in-depth, multi-visited program for Deaf students which continues to this day. The program was the first program for the Deaf in a cultural institution in Fort Worth based on learning the elements of the history of art which connected the utilization of acute visual awareness to awaken all of the other senses.
* In 1998, Ms. Head formed a partnership with Ms. Debbie Allen, acclaimed choreographer, director, star of stage/film and TV, to create the world's 1st Debbie Allen Dance Institute. The six-year old program, initiated in Fort Worth, is held annually under the creative direction of Ms. Allen. In 2001, Ms. Allen created her yearlong Dance Academy in Los Angeles based on the Fort Worth model.
