Imagination Celebration of Fort Worth will host seven Oaxacan Artists who will be demonstrating their crafts accompanied by hands-on workshops for students. Each artist has been selected for their superior craftsmanship and their desire to share their art with students.
Students will hear about the Oaxaca from a historical, geographical, and cultural perspective from Florencio Moreno. Then students will be introduced to the art of Oaxaca and meet some of the talented artisans from that region. Demonstrations will be held in the FWCAC galleries and participants will be given materials to work on their own creations inspired by these artist.
On Thursday, October 1st, Imagination Celebration of Fort Worth (ICFW) will host an exciting evening of artist demonstrations, light snacks, and shopping in the Fort Worth Community Art Center (FWCAC) at 1300 Gendy, Fort Worth, TX.
This special evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. and run until 8:00 p.m. Tickets for this event may be purchased at the door for $10.00 or attendees may call and order Will Call tickets to be picked up the evening of the event for $8.00. Will Call Tickets may be purchased by calling ICFW at 817-870-1141 and paid via credit card.
Each artist will have a selection of their work for sale at the Showcase Event. A cash bar will be available to purchase drinks.
